In the time between "Twilight," filming, she also shot five more projects that included "Up in the Air". For her performance as George Clooney, the film won an Oscar. Since her debut, she has been part of many critically and commercially successful projects like "Scott Pilgrim Vs. America". Anna Cook Kendrick was created in Portland, Maine, the 9th of August 1985. Her mother worked as an accountant, while her father was a teacher of history. Anna was raised by her older brother Michael who was an actor who became an actor later on. Anna Kendrick began auditioning to Broadway plays as a teenager at Deering High School in Portland. At just 12 years old her first big theater role was High Society. Although she was just a little girl her performance was a hit and earned her many nominations and awards. She was a part-time actress in A Little Night Music from 2003 until 2004. At 15 years old she was the first person to create a film at Camp. Kendrick was nominated for her performance as well as for Rocket Science 2007, which she appeared in at the age of fifteen.
