Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk in the Street and 'Closing Bell'. An Ohio native She was not fascinated by the market and currencies when she was in college. While studying at New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. It was here that she received the first experience of business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. She then did a four-month-long stint with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. Following her return to US after which she started to work at Bloomberg's office in New York. Eventually, she became a TV anchor. CNBC hired her in December 2013 to be a reporter. Prior to her appointment at "Closing Bell as a correspondent, she worked as co-anchoring 'Worldwide Exchange' and the 'Power Lunch'. Eisen is also co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. She is among the most reputable business journalists in the world today. Since her arrival at CNBC, her primary focus has been on the global news for consumers.
